Independence
Sportfishing Boat #1 For Long-Range
This Independence is the newest and the most
luxurious sport boat in all of San Diego's Fleet. This boat
provides it's state rooms with Satellite TV, a sink and full
Bathrooms. In the Galley you have a soda and water fountain
machine along with snacks, fruits, soup and a ice maker you
can enjoy at anytime. Also this boat has a HUGE plasma screen
to keep you entertained on the ride to and back from the
fishing grounds. My personal favorite thing about this boat is
the gourmet food ; a 5 star presentation and taste to give you
the energy you need to fight them fish! Along with all this
you get the best deck technicians and the most knowledgeable
and experienced captains and crew members in the west coast.
What more can you expect? Call Judy at Point Loma to Reserve
your trip. (619) 226-6006.
Mention us, Young's Tackle, and
you'll get the best service in town! Keep in mind, due to the
high demand for this boat you MUST BOOK ASAP! Spots are
limited, and the majority of people cannot get the trip
they want because its sold out already. I recommend booking
your spot a year in advance (it also helps with the
payment plan you might have with Judy.) Long-Range
fishing will open new doors to your fishing experience, it
will take fishing to the next level!

Remember, having the
right gear and terminal tackle can and will determine
the success your long-range trip. Be prepared; have the proper
gear, take the right terminal tackle and make sure your reels
are in the best shape. Get your reels serviced prior to your
long-range trip so you can have a shot when you unexpectedly
hang the big COW, HOMEGAURD YELLOWTAIL or BIG WAHOO.
Make sure you check your reels' drags, bearings, parts, oil
and grease or have a professional go through them. (We have
over 22 years experience in FULL OVERHAUL REEL SERVICE.)

Fluorocarbon leader has
become very popular the last few years and we highly
recommend it when fishing for bluefin tuna offshore as
well as bigger yellowfin at Guadalupe island or Alijos
rocks. It also comes in handy when the albacore become
touchy and are hard to hook on regular mono. line.
