Congrats to our Jp winners from Young’s Tackle group… 1st place goes to Ray Smith with a 122.2 Yellowfin, 2nd place 116 lb Yellowfin goes to Ralph Salerno from San Diego, and 3rd place goes to Guy Mitchell with a 113.4 Yellow fin. *second place fish was caught by Ralph but accidentally had my tag (thus, the JP picture). Six-Day YT Independence Fishing Trip May 2k7

(YellowTail Shootout!) Young's Tackle/Izorline Sponsor

For our first 6 day. The Yellowtail Shootout charter was a success. We boarded about 300 yellows ranging from 20-40 lbs. We fished Cedros & Guadalupe Islands' and had a shot at the homegaurds. We also got a 150 lb. black sea bass and our jackpot yellows at Guadalupe Island. Congrats to Jimmy Lee and Dan Caves for winning Jackpot.  A big thanks to all of our sponsors for all your donations: Shimano, Leadmasters, Tady and Young's Tackle. It has been a pleasure fishing with such great anglers. See you guys again next year!!

"It was a little slower this year but it was the best Wahoo fishing I've ever done in my years of Long-range" - MAC (9 wahoos *personal best).

YT 10- Day RECAP (Alijos Rocks):

A big Thank You to everyone who was on our YT's 10 Day aboard the first class boat,  "Independence", We had another excellent trip. This year we were lucky to be able catch so many BIG WAHOO's, QUALITY DODO's and Homegaurd Yellowtails. Many thanks to our sponsors, Izorline, Kencor, Leadmasters and Maxima. I would also like to especially thank Mac (Chartermaster), Mark and Paul (Captain's), and all the INDY CREW for all of their hard work and for making these Long-range Trips exciting and memorable for everyone. Thanks to all of our customers for fishing with Young's Tackle (YT), We really have a wonderful group of guys who cant wait to do it again every year.  Also congratulations to all of Jackpot winners: Mike Nagao with a very nice 116 pound yellowfin tuna caught on 40 lb. test, 2nd place fish was caught by Larry Amboy and was another yellowfin that came in at 88.4 pounds, 3rd place fish was also a yellowfin caught by Phil Meckley and tipped the scales at 82.8 pounds.
