Keeping your fishing reel in top shape is key to catching more fish and getting the most out of your reel. At YT, when we say reel repair/service, we mean a complete overhaul. Which means taking apart everything; re-greasing all parts necessary, replacing worn out drags, applying oil for your free-spool bearings and repairing or replacing any parts the reel may need to get it in top shape. We do not just open up the reel and put a clump of grease and put it back together and call that "reel service" (like some of our competitors). Please, do not bring in your reel for repair when its too late, service it when you feel it isn't performing at its peak. Typically for an average fisherman, you service your reel two to three times a year. If you fish long-range or you just plain fish hard, then you might service your reels 3-5 times out of the year. Keep in mind that drags and bearings are the most common parts that need replacement after usage.

Reel Service Process (4 step)

1. Break down of the Reel.  (every single part of the reel is disassembled)

2. Cleaning Process (lightly brush debris and 24 hours cleaning in solvent )

3. Drying (all parts are laid out and left to air dry 6 hours, no moisture left in the reel)

4. Assembly of the reel. (replace worn/broken parts. New drags. Check bearings. re-grease and re-oil)
